Deloitte experts: the new turnover tax will increase the effective tax rate to 20%-30% and could bring an additional 6.5 billion lei to the budget next year

The law could enter into force as early as October, given that it only needs to be promulgated by the Romanian president and published in the Official Gazette, draw the attention of Deloitte specialists

The impact of the fiscal measures contained in the law for which the Government assumed responsibility in Parliament will be significant, especially for the entities that are to be taxed on turnover, in the case of which the effective tax rate will increase considerably, to 20%- 30%, after the entry into force of the new regulations, according to an analysis carried out by Deloitte Romania experts.
