Regarding the information appearing in the public space regarding the introduction of new fees and taxes for the business environment, the National Council of Small and Medium-sized Private Enterprises in Romania (CNIPMMR), a nationally representative employers' confederation, which ensures the representation of the interests of small and medium-sized enterprises at national and European level, draws attention to the fact that, in this period characterized by the slowdown of the economy and maintaining inflation at a high level, it is inappropriate to adopt fiscal measures that have the effect of overtaxing companies and eliminating the incentives applied to certain areas that were aimed at economic development and growth consumption.
