METRO Cash & Carry to launch 'Bunatati din Romania'

After METRO Cash & Carry launched "De-ale Noastre" program in May, in premiere on the Romanian retail market, the company is developing the platform in support of the domestic producers with the second program, called "Bunatati din Romania"

The program benefits from the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and aims at encouraging the consumption of Romanian products through the conclusion of strategic partnerships with Romanian producers. The program includes domestic producers covering diverse product categories: fish, meat, meat products, dairies, cheese, vegetables and fruits, bread, wines, as well as cans. The main requirement for program participation is the observance of the quality standards set by METRO Romania, as well as the use of processes that ensure product traceability.
