EY SAF-T Index: Extension of grace period is considered "welcome and necessary" by large taxpayers

EY Romania develops two customized IT solutions that facilitate the generation of SAF-T reports

The extension of the grace period for submitting the D406 declaration or the Standard Tax Control File from three to six months is considered by most major taxpayers (37%) “welcome and necessary, as the first reporting on February 28, 2022 would have been a difficult deadline ”, shows the results of the most recent SAF-T Index study, presented by EY Romania during a dedicated seminar. In an even more important proportion (46%), however, the big taxpayers declare that they would like a postponement of the reporting term by at least 12 months, in order to be able to prepare the implementation of the new reporting, also shows EY SAF-T Index.
