UCECOM is the representative of the whole sector of handicraft cooperatives organizations of Romania in relation to Romanian authorities, other internal or international bodies. Production and export of: - textile products - ready made clothes and knitwear, handmade carpets, knotted and woven; - leather footwear and other leather goods; - furniture and other wooden products; - metal products, including wrought iron; - handicraft articles made of textiles, wood, metal, ceramics, ornaments for Christmas tree, wickerwork. Services provided to population and companies: - body care; - motor vehicle repairs; - labour saving devices repair services; - training and education in ARTIFEX University for Economic Training (3,000 places) and "Spiru Haret" Foundation (12 highschools with 6,000 places capacity/year); - tourism and medical treatment (S.C.
