Romania ranks second lowest in the European Union regarding innovation

Poor level of innovation and very low level of sophistication reduce the chances of Romanian companies to be competitive in the global marketplace

Post-Privatization Foundation (FPP) launches the study Innovation and Entrepreneurship - pillars of competitiveness. The paper aims to highlight the impact that innovation and entrepreneurship have on increasing competitiveness, employment and long-term welfare of society. Offering answers that can explain the evolution and current position of Romania's competitiveness in the global landscape, the paper highlights weaknesses, risks and opportunities that can influence the future evolution of individual firms and the economy.
