E-commerce sales in Romania registered a very high increase in 2020 (+ 71% compared to 2019), due to the pandemic

E-commerce sales in Romania increased by over 70% in 2020 compared to the previous year, due to the pandemic. This growth rate could not be sustained in 2021, partly due to the high costs of access to e-commerce marketplaces;
